Annual membership payments via PayPal cancelled as transition work continues


As announced last December, the Trust is continuing work on phasing out old membership packages in favour of the new tiered memberships.

The aim is to switch memberships to a rolling monthly plan to increase the amount that Trust members, as the owners, are donating to the club.

The intention is for the Trust to donate at least £100,000 a year to the club via memberships and we are very close to that target.

This transition involves a considerable amount of work to the Trust database. The next phase of this work is the cancellation of all annual PayPal payments ahead of November's target date for all Trust memberships to be part of the new tiered, monthly packages.

PayPal charges the Trust for every transaction. Therefore, monthly membership payments will be made via GoCardless or standing order as these are more cost-effective for the Trust.

During the close season, any Trust members still on the old annual payment will be contacted and reminded of the new membership packages and how to switch.

New membership packages can be seen at https://www.ncafctrust.org/join/ where you can upgrade your current plan online and set up a new monthly direct debit in the process.
