Notice of Supporters' Trust AGM – 25th January 2024


As previously announced Newport County AFC Supporters’ Trust gives notice that an AGM will take place on 25th January 2024, in the Bisley Suite, Rodney Parade, Newport.

The Trust AGM will take place from 7 – 7.30 pm.

Only Trust members can attend this meeting and attendees will be required to register their attendance in advance, by contacting agm@ncafctrust.org

Only fully paid-up trust members as of 9th January 2024 will be able to attend this meeting.

The AGM will cover:

  • Acceptance of the audited accounts for financial years ending 30th June 2022, and 30th June 2023.
  • Re-Appointment of Auditors
  • Members Resolution as proposed by Chris Davies – full details to follow shortly.

At the close of the Trust AGM, we will be holding an informal meeting with members to discuss the future of the Trust. Only fully paid-up trust members as of 9th January 2024 will be able to attend this meeting.

We are looking to canvass opinion on how the Trust should be run in the future; how we should elect two new directors for the board of the football club (and what we should expect of them); how the Trust can represent the interests of supporters and best support the club under the new ownership model. The views and ideas shared on the 25th January will be followed by a survey for all Trust members.

In addition to the AGM, we will also hold a Special General Meeting of the Trust to make formal decisions on how the Trust should be structured and run, and what the future aims should be and the inclusion of any feedback from the post AGM survey. This will take place later in March or April.
